Trinity Sunday

Trinity Sunday was a particularly special occasion for the choir this year. At the morning service we sang a new anthem written by former Director of Music, Jack Pickford, and dedicated to the choir. 'Eternal Trinity of Light' will be sung again at our Summer Concert on the 25th June, 7pm, in case you missed it!

In the afternoon, we were joined by the choir of St Mary's Church, Ross-on-Wye for a service of Choral Evensong. Music included 'I saw the Lord' by John Stainer; a work requiring two choruses and a quartet, putting our augmented numbers to good use. Given the size of the choir, we were pleased to share the service with a congregation that outnumbered us!
